Better to save for big heavy stuff instead of daily use. Didn't want to screw with taking out another tool.Must have on occasion tho.Quick cut screws, all thread, drill rod, pins, springs rebar, splitting nuts and races heavy wire. Cutoff wheels in grinders.Waste of money and nasty but real quick once in a while. I'll never wear it out either.I think I got it in '88 or so ? Useless but sometimes nothing else will do.I'd never upgrade. Indispensable tool.A shop without Acetylene isn't a real shop. Heavy Duty and bend-twist-braze deal with cast iron cracks and preheats. Love it for slotting ! I want the onboard air model and maybe I'd use it a lot more. Over 1/4 curvy parts circles and non ferrous cutting. Useless on anything but plates, long straight cuts with a guide, or real thick flat bar outside the shop or cutting stuff in half off the truck for easier handling. Not necessary yet not for sale either. Small and easy to handle.I'd like a better small air nibbler.Recommend me one ? Strange die setup ? Cuts well but leaves a shit edge. I want to try the Bosch metal specific too. Milwaukee Jigsaw( the biggest newest one).Great metalwork tool. The light cover sucks(tossed it). ![]() a Makita FZK will replace it when the day comes. Portaband 2 speed shallow cut Milwaukee freehand. ![]() My Porta-stand and Porta-band and my 9 " dry saw get first dibs.Daily use.If I could only have one to start over it would be the Makita 9". I have everything mentioned in the thread plus some stuff.
